Hester General Store is a general store, from scratch bakery & cafe located in the Dacusville community of Easley, South Carolina. The store serves the local community in a variety of ways: by employing local talent; by utilizing regional fruit and produce for selling; by providing a family-friendly shopping experience; and by keeping community focused on community, a key principle of the general store concept.

A Brief History
Michael Hester built the store in 1893 and set up the first floor as a general merchandise store and upstairs as a barber shop.
The store was owned by the Hester family until 1983. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
And in 2021, Hester Store was purchased by Katie Chaney, Anderson South Carolina native to bring it back to its former glory as a general store, cafe and bakery.
